Description:Metric5 is looking for motivated Oracle Hyperion SME/Developer to join our growing team. The Oracle Hyperion SME/Developer will join an Agile program responsible for the development, maintenance, security, and operational support of existing Oracle Hyperion applications. You are cross-functional with a passion for high-quality work and can configure, upgrade, and test Hyperion. You are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we are doing wrong so we can fix it, and what we are doing right so we can improve on it. Our Oracle Hyperion SME/Developer will work with our Oracle Hyperion Development team on a highly visible project with our DHS/TSA customer. As a SME, you will work closely with customers to understand and support the agency’s Information Technology business needs and provide development and operational support of applications.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years professional work experience
  • 3+ years working with Agile development methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience working in the IT field administering and configuring Oracle Hyperion
  • Working experience performing Hyperion upgrades
  • Working experience with Hyperion coding, calculations, business processes, and user accounts/security
  • Understanding of Hyperion Reporting products
  • Able to clearly communicate and provide positive recommendation of improvements to existing software applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, time management and problem resolution skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience preparing and documenting user guides and related documentation
  • Experience working with customers to elicit and analyze their requirements, develop designs, and implement Oracle Hyperion
  • Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient
  • Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Must be well organized, a good communicator, able to effectively prioritize tasks, and manage your projects from concept to production
  • Must be well able to brainstorm with others, thrive in a collaborative team environment, multi-task, and quickly adapt to change

Position Responsibilities:
  • Administer, develop, configure, upgrade, and test Oracle Hyperion
  • Troubleshoot and resolve simple to complex issues related to Hyperion
  • Maintain and update mapping tables, metadata, and rules
  • Document modified application design, code, logic, packages, modules or triggers and update training material
  • Follow the team’s established Agile processes, which include both short- and long-term planning, cross functional support, and demonstrating working software

Desired Skills and Certifications:
  • Experience supporting TSA and other DHS Agencies
  • Familiarity with AWS, MS Azure, or other cloud platforms
  • Experience with software tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, and Git
  • Experience working in Scrum/Agile environment

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience or more

Clearance: Must be a United States Citizen and able to obtain a TSA public trust security clearance for this government position.
