E3/Sentinel’s Defense Division supports customers across the Department of Defense, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of the Navy, National Guard Bureau, Office of the Inspector General, and Washington Headquarters Services. By providing program assistance and technical innovation to ensure our nation’s security, E3/Sentinel employees help our clients navigate through dynamic environments. Our Defense Division offers a variety of career paths, including program management, systems engineering and technical assistance (SETA), financial analysis, operational support, financial analysis, facilities management, and more.E3/Sentinel is seeking candidates to provide senior level program and project management support to the OUSD(R&E) Director for 5G. This position will provide direct support to the R&E Director for 5G and will assist in inter and intra coordination of all activities and materials on his behalf. This support will include developing and maintaining work products that support management decision making, strategy development, initiative definition, action tracking and monitoring, meeting and workshop planning and execution. The candidate must be skilled at interfacing, communicating and collaborating with government personnel ranging from action officer to senior leader levels, including civilian and military. Speak to a recruiter about our telework options.Facilitate project, initiative and major work effort planning meetings.

Develop planning artifacts including but not limited to statements of work, charters, schedules, Gantt charts.

Facilitate integrated project and initiative teams including meeting preparation, scheduling, execution and follow up.

Develop executive level status and summary briefings.

Develop decision support documents including business case analysis.

Develop and document frameworks for distilling complex issues and work functions into clear courses of action to support decision making; work functions may include but are not limited to: recruiting, hiring, personnel management, cost estimating, strategy formulation, technical, operational and business process initiatives.

Develop business case analyses that clearly, concisely characterize, quantify and assess costs, benefits and risk of relevant courses of action germane to the operation of the office.

Support meeting and workshop planning and execution by facilitation of meeting and workshop goals and objectives formulation; planning meeting and workshop execution including scheduling and coordination of participant; preparing and distributing preparatory material with sufficient time (as agreed upon with government client) to ensure participants are prepared to support meeting and workshop objectives.

Facilitate meeting execution. For meetings and workshops of sufficient size and complexity to warrant addition facilitation support, prepare work scope and effort estimates for government client.

Document meeting and workshop outcomes including actions, decisions, agreements, assumptions and relevant discussion points; coordinate publication of meeting results consistent with meeting goals and objectives.

Facilitate development and refinement of office administrative and operational processes as needed to aid government client in improving effectiveness and productivity in delivering on office objectives.

Implement process changes through communication and training of office staff (includes direct and subordinate office staffs) as needed.

Develop and implement performance metrics and tracking mechanism to support performance management and continuous improvement; provided recommendations to government clients for improvement. Assist in the development of a roadmap for process and systems modifications, upgrade and implementation that may be warranted to integrate audit requirements with effective and efficient administrative and operation processes of the office

Perform other duties as assigned

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a management or technical discipline.

Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI

10 years directly related experience

Highly preferred experience and skills in:project management, operational management, strategy development and planning, communication, executive decision support.

Ability to execute effectively in DoD and OSD staff environment, and communicate effectively to audience across functional disciplines, and at the most senior levels of government.

Mastery of management tools including MS Office suite.

Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and tasks, and deliver high quality and timely resultsand work products.

Ability to assess urgent work assignments, quickly determine optimal courses of action and manage actions to timely conclusion.

TS/SCI Clearance Preferred
