This opportunity will support a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic ERP implementation for a large Federal government organization.Your future duties and responsibilities:The expectation of this requested position is the Communications Lead will work across program teams, Workstream Leads, and client representatives to establish and manage the project communications plans and execute against those plans. Plans includes a communications matrix, communications tracking tools, and any other strategic communications tools that support effective communications. The lead will actively monitor project activities to identify and address communication gaps / weaknesses. The Communications Lead will work in alignment with the stakeholder (program) communications team as well as the executive communications team to ensure that there is consistency in messaging across all channels.Required qualifications to be successful in this role:Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required. Bachelor's Degree Excellent written and oral presentation skill Strong experience identifying what information really needs to be communicated and what information is superfluous, in order to avoid communication noise. Strong ability to build re-usable ‘snapshot’ or dashboard views of information, as well as succinct reports, updates, newsletters Strong PowerPoint skills Strong visual / graphic presentation skills Experience with Excel Experience with SharePoint Experience working in Agile environments Experience working on major implementation / integration programs ($1B and above) At least 7 years’ experience managing (or directly responsible for) project communications as a communications lead, project coordinator or project manager to include the following:Strong familiarity with SDLC and the up/downstream communication links in each step of the processExperience defining and developing internal program communications and the tools to track themExperience working with technical and non-technical functional leads to build and lead internal project communications planExperience managing communications among teams across multiple geographic locations including virtual staffDesired Qualifications:Depth of knowledge using SharePoint as a communications toolAbility to read and interpret a Microsoft Project schedule, identifying critical communication opportunitiesAbility to develop and construct strategic communications tools – such as re-usable key-messagesAbility to develop, track, and display communications metrics.Ability to develop and execute surveys in electronic and other mediums.#CGIFederalJob#LI-MC3What you can expect from us:Build your career with us.It is an extraordinary time to be in business.
