Overview

Devis is currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide support for a US international development program in Arlington (Rosslyn), VA!

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to :

Responsible for supporting the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs)

Monitor, administer, and trouble shoot 90% Windows and 10% Linux systems

Administer Active Directory, Exchange, MS SQL, DNS, and VMware

Assist in designing and managing the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN

Provide Production Support of the Network, including : day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution of client Networks

Provide Tier II / III level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems

Deploy and administer servers in both a VMWare and AWS environment

Support the dispatch of circuit and hardware vendors involved in the resolution process

Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

Required Skills and Qualifications

4 € 7 years of hands-on experience in similar work

Experience supporting Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016, MS SQL 2008 / 2016, IIS, MS Exchange, Skype, VMWare, including but not limited to VMware ESXi, vCenter, vROP and vRA

Experience with Palo Alto and SolarWinds

Experience maintain and administering Active Directory environment and Group Policy Objects

Experience maintaining Exchange, Skype, or similar applications

Working knowledge of local area network hardware and software operations, maintenance, performance tuning and trouble shooting.

Experience with MS SCCM, Citrix, DNN EVOQ, Symantec (desired)

Experience with AWS, KEMP, Tableau, GitHub, and Cisco switches and routers (is a plus)

Education / Certifications

Bachelor€™s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Information Technology or other relevant domain, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Clearance Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen w / an active Secret Clearance
