Vulnerability Researcher Intern

Seeking undergraduate and graduate college students for a unique role combining reverse engineering and software development.You will work as a member of a small team of developers and will be supervised by more experienced engineers.In this role you will conduct research by reverse engineering a piece of software and work on developing software that uses what is learned from that research.CODEX employees’ passion is work that challenges, engages, and provides real-world mission impact—which means our research and development efforts cover the full spectrum of security technologies for computer network operations.This co-op runs from January 2021 through July 2021 .This position can be for a junior, senior, or post-graduate student.Required SkillsYou should have some experience with:PythonLinux application programmingWindows application programmingDesired SkillsC# and .NET programmingReverse engineering; binary static analysisWorking with a debuggerWiresharkVisual StudioSecurity Clearance:Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the requirements to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI government security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Education Requirements:Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a technical degree in the area of Cyber, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
