Lead Energy Storage Systems Engineer

A green energy company located in Northern Virginia is seeking a Lead Energy Storage Systems Engineer to join their growing team. In this role you will be responsible for the building, testing, scheduling, and management of overall performance requirements for each project. You will also be responsible for overseeing the team to ensure the project is operating under industry standards and best practices.

• 5 + years professional of engineering experience in renewable energy space
• Experience working on energy storage projects
• Familiarity with the NEC and other industry codes
• Strong capabilities with Java
• Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

• Ability to motive and develop other members of the team
• Solid written and verbal communication
• Ability to travel to locations through the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast US

• Making technical decisions in preparation for newly acquired projects
• Participate in daily/weekly meetings with engineering teams
• Collaborate with team members and steak holders on new product initiatives
