Our Arlington-based client is seeking a solutions lead to come in and work on modernization and automation projects on a hybrid onsite basis. This inidividual must have hand-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps or the competitor equivalent and have the skills necessary to gather requirements, structure solutions, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill those requests. We are looking for someone excited to quarterback their own projects.

responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILTIES

Design, develop, test, deploy, secure, and support business applications across various platforms
Lead the technical delivery of various solution initiatives ensuring the designs meet business and technical requirements that fully leverage the capabilities of business applications
Gather requirements and develop design specifications to maximize the benefit of business applications
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process automation opportunities to increase efficiencies, reduce cost, and reduce operational risk
Coordinate with stakeholders/end users in the software development lifecycle and mentor the team throughout the project delivery
Maintain deep technology understanding of related applications, possibilities of configurations, integration, and associated limitations and constraints

Required Skills and Experience

Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, ) or .NET platform (C#) and relational databases at least at seminar / diploma thesis level
Knowledge of software development principles and lifecycle
Experience with DevOps tools (minimum a source control system)
Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills ? Interest for Microsoft technologies, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure cloud and will to constantly grow, learn and enhancing the skills in this area
Experience assessing feasibility of migrating customer solutions and/or integrating with 3rd party systems both Microsoft and non-Microsoft platforms
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining documentation, frameworks and strategies as they relate to Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies
Experience in training, knowledge transfer and change management processes related to the PowerApps platform and management
Experience in end-user support, application rollout support, and end user training related to the PowerApps platform and applications deployed therein Desired Skills and Experience
A degree in Computer Science or related area
Microsoft certifications from related areas - PL-900, PL-600, PL-400, AZ-900
Programing background or Lo- / No-code development platform experience
A feel for UX design and app UI creation
Experience with Dynamics 365 development / customizations
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud (knowledge of cloud resource deployment principles or usage of specific cloud technologies)
