COMSEC CUSTODIAN (SDC-22-0810-Z): Bowhead seeks a COMSEC Custodian to support the Secretary of Defense Communications (SDC) contract located at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The COMSEC Custodian will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of COMSEC principles, directives, procedures, criteria, and systems application to coordinate COMSEC requirements. Other responsibilities may include: • Support maintenance of and accountability, oversee issuance, and properly disposing of sensitive cryptographic materials, equipment, and related COMSEC information. • Support the initialization of COMSEC systems, perform system backups, determine operator access, and control functions (privilege management), reload and configure the operating systems parameters. • Support the installation of and oversee the local KMI Operating Account (KOA) hardware/software, and complete and submit registration documents for future KOA Managers (KOAM). • Local travel within the NCR may be required. Less than 10%. Requirements In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, candidates should be aware that they may be required to have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire. • One to three (3+) years' of relevant experience. • Must be NSA KMI trained and certified. • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Top Secret security clearance and have had SCI access within the past 23 months. US Citizenship is a requirement for admission to these locations.
