Java Full Stack DeveloperAmbit+Greenzone is seeking a

US CITIZEN Full Stack Developer in the Washington, DC area! Our innovative customer is working to modernize the way the agency uses

big data and data analytics to meet its investigative mission and objectives. The candidate will also support the development of an agency-wide analytics platform and the development of

customized applications and tools to meet unique personnel use cases and agency objectives, using

cloud and primarily open source technologies. THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW ARE NOT SET IN STONE. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TALENTED JAVA DEVELOPER.The Full Stack Developer will provide direct development and analytics support to agency personnel. This includes working with the client to gather project requirements, providing expertise and tool/technology suggestions, and delivering high-quality and refined work We empower our team to be creative, innovative, and use

cutting-edge tools and technologies.

Design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions and applications that deliver data to end-users.
Developing and testing software and writing web applications using open-source tools and programming languages.
Working collaboratively to design, develop, code, and deploy production applications and solutions.
Work collaboratively with the government client, project managers, on agile cross-functional development teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or another related field
Experience developing and testing enterprise applications and software.
Experience developing production applications using server-side computer languages such as:

Java – SpringBoot
Python
Groovy

Web-development experience which includes experience writing web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and Java Script.

Nice to have:

One (1) year of experience developing applications leveraging big data technologies including at least two of the following:

ElasticSearch
Cassandra
JanusGraph
H-Base
GraphQ

One (1) year of experience leverage CI/CD tools such as:

Jenkins
SonarCube

Location: Arlington, VA (Due to COVID-19, on-site client work has been suspended until further notice).
