Trigyn's direct government client in Arlington, Virginia has a REMOTE contract opportunity for 12 months+.

Description/Requirements:

The department is seeking an analytical and data-savvy professional to serve in the Quality and Administration Division. Strong exp. in data analytics, data quality, cross-functional collaboration. required along with Project Lead exp. and/or Project Management exp.

EXCELLENT communication skills required. Identifying and interviewing stakeholders and thought leaders will be a KEY PART of this project

The candidate is responsible for multiple clients efforts to enhance service integration and the data systems that support it. Develop visual dashboards and other analytic tools to enable leadership to manage and improve outcomes; Identify best practices in human services data integration through research and informational interviews; assess clients current approaches to data integration, both within client and with community partners; and present client's leadership with options to improve integration, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and streamline access to services; Assess the quality of demographic data quality extracted from 9 major data systems, and develop a process to improve the accuracy and completeness of demographic data; Collaborate with the data warehouse development team to improve record matching across data systems; Use public data sources such as the Census Bureaus American Community Survey to build a framework to identify overarching trends related to community demographics and needs; Lead and participate in special projects to support DHSs priorities related to improving service integration, data analytics, and equitable outcomes.

The successful candidate will have expertise in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, experience designing data visualizations, and the ability to rapidly learn new analytic software. They will have demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills that include an acute attention to detail. They will collaborate effectively with colleagues and leaders across functions, as well as with external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Public or Business Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, Data Science, Information Technology, Social Work, or Psychology; and Five or more years of experience analyzing organizational needs and developing reports from complex data sources to enable leaders to make data-informed decisions.

Substitution: Additional directly related qualifying experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Desirable: Preference may be given to candidates with one or more of the following: Advanced degree in a related field such as Public or Business Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, Data Science, Information Technology, Social Work, or Psychology; or Experience in a field such as healthcare, human services, local government, or nonprofits; or Familiarity with Python or other data science programming languages.
