Sr. Java Developer

Location: Currently remote but eventually must be at the client site (Washington DC). Either local to DC or open to traveling. Hands-on Java Developer The client is looking for a Java Developer to design, architect, and develop high-end technology solutions that solve our clients' most complex and challenging problems across different industries. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions. Education/Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 8 Years of strong software development experience in software development with expertise in Java 8 and above
• Recent experience in Architect-related roles
• Play/Akka or Spring boot based Microservices

• SRE skills (managing SLOs/SLIs including but not limited to Performance Engineering, Caching solutions, etc.)
• Strong experience in writing high-quality code with full automated unit test coverage
• Strong experience in defining and applying design standards, patterns, quality matrix depending on the solutions
• DevOps knowledge, cloud experience, knowledge of front-end technologies

• Must be able to interface with the client and have solid communication skills
• Must have experience client-facing
• Must have experience working with offshore teams
