Maintenance Supervisor

Lucas Group has partnered with our client in on their search for a Maintenance Supervisor.

Seeking Candidates with a Military Background

• Monitor and schedule the work load for the maintenance department, including daily work folder distribution and follow-up.
• Parts procurement, stock inventories, critical parts reviewed and updated in Mainsaver/JDE, including the Plant supply closet, and Plant purchasing needs.
• Plan preventative and predictive maintenance for all equipment to maximize uptime.
• Review and input of daily maintenance activities into Mainsaver/JDE with the tracking of maintenance performance to plan and the generation of KPI reports
• Review, trouble shoot and direct the repairs of unplanned work and major breakdowns with Foreman
• Review daily downtime and efficiencies for all production areas and consult with Production Management and Supervision on improvement strategies.
• Review daily with Maintenance Foreman on team’s performance and day’s outlook.
• Interacts and communicates with multiple department managers to insure all required work, and purchases are completed.
• Review incoming work and purchasing requests, prioritizing into maintenance plan, and communicating to originator of request in timely manner.
• Engage services of outside contractors for installation, modification, or repairs
• Department staffing and labor use with Overtime tracking/justification.
• Advise and consult on all capital projects

• Electrical, Mechanical and Controls knowledge
• Experience in food processing/packaging
