Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) has immediate openings for Laboratory Analyst at our environmental microbiology laboratory in Williston, VT.

The successful candidate will be trained using Standard Operating Procedures to work independently and as part of the Laboratory Operations team in a fast-paced, professional laboratory environment. Computer proficiency is required for data entry, spreadsheet reports, etc. Efficiency and excellent communication skills are required.

Education: College degree preferred

Knowledge: Laboratory experience preferred

Skills: Aseptic technique, traditional and molecular microbiology lab skills, Manual dexterity, ability to follow written protocols/Standard Operating Procedures, computer proficiency (primarily MS Office), and data entry

Other required competencies: Excellent organizational skills, attentive to detail, efficient, strong work ethic, ability to work as a team member

Position physical requirements: Requires fine and gross motor skills. Most work is performed standing at bench along with seated data entry. May require lifting of coolers weighing approximately 50 pounds.

This is a full-time position in which the employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period.
