Grounds Personnel Needed

The Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Randolph Center Vermont, is seeking applicants for seasonal employment. We are located at 367 Furnace Rd. Randolph Ctr., VT. The scope of work is preparing grave sites (urns and caskets) for interment, hand mowing, string trimming, weeding, installation of gravestones, minor janitorial tasks, and the like. All hires complete all duties within the cemetery, must be able to maneuver up to 60lbs, be over the age of 18, have a good work ethic, and be able to work well with others. These positions are temp hires for the 2024 burial season with the State of Vermont, Office of Veterans Affairs. Positions start in April and run through October, hours and days worked may be negotiable. The Hourly rate is PG15, 16.65 an hour.
