Bookkeeper

Description Robert Half has an immediate need for a talented Bookkeeper. If you have worked with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then you may be the right candidate for this Bookkeeper opportunity. Located in the Barre, Vermont area, this Bookkeeper position is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity that you do not want to miss.What you get to do every single dayPrepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Support quality archived records by filing documents

Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

Balance accounts by reconciling entries

Oversee and manage general ledger

Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures Requirements - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired

Payroll experience preferred

QuickBooks experience

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Administrative Assistance experience highly desired

Microsoft Excel experience required

2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
