This position is open to a candidate located anywhere in the West.Anticipate upcoming equipment recall’s for current Tektronix customers using internal tracking tools

Research prior year’s needs, using these as a baseline to open a recall conversation with Tek client

Interact via outbound calls with current Tektronix customers to determine calibration needs now and into the future

Determine calibration pricing based on quantity & type of equipment, type of calibration being requested, and whether work will be done on-site or in depot

Deliver pricing to client and negotiate as necessary. Will be responsible for procuring price increases as necessary or applicable

Present long-term contract options & benefits to clients in endeavor to secure them as a client for more than one year

Support Outside Account Managers in the above activities at direction of National Accounts Manager

Candidate will handle a variety of post-sales customer support functions including quotes, contract extensions and customer re-engagement

General Skill Set Requirements:Operational knowledge of Internal Tektronix systems and tools: GAGE, CalWeb, OBIEE, EIS, QuoteIt, Quoting Site and Margin Calculator

Ability to handle multiple clients and lab scheduling at one time

Strong time-management skills

Responsible for interfacing with customers, both internal and external

Ability to make recommendations and solve problems

Promotes opportunities and recommendations to increase sale of services

Meets customer demands via a variety of sales and service order management reports and systems

Professionally interacts with a wide variety of people via the phone and online meetings (Skype, WebEx).

Minimum Requirements:U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident required

2 years of account management and/or customer service experience required

BA/BS degree preferred

Desired Attributes:Ability to work independently as part of a team

Must have strong interpersonal skills

Must have strong analytical skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proven advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Negotiation, technical writing and editing skills strongly desired
