Job Description

Plant Manager - $150-160k + Bonus – Aluminum Metals Manufacturing & Fabrication - Accountability for day-to-day operations and overseeing production activities. Define the organizational structure, oversee major personnel decisions, and perform regular financial evaluations of company results. Provide cross-functional management and lead efforts to recruit, develop, and motivate team members. Facilitate a workplace culture that drives staff to excel by effectively coaching mid-level managers and encouraging junior employees in their professional development. Ensure required safety and environmental regulatory compliance standards are adhered to. Direct reports: Production Managers, Quality Manager, EH&S Manager, Maintenance & Engineering Manager

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering – Materials/Metallurgical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering preferred. MBA/MS degree and Lean/Six Sigma certifications a plus. Prefer Aluminum foundry experience, will consider steel. 5+ years progressive experience in primary metals manufacturing plant management and leadership. Experienced in 5S, Labor and Environmental Regulations, ISO and Quality Assurance systems. Operational P&L experience and knowledge in a Lean/continued process manufacturing environment.
