QA Engineer

Salt Lake Valley Client with immediate opening for a Quality Assurance EngineerResponsibilities include utilizing the Amazon AWS cloud platform to enable the success of organization’s core business unit, writing system automation, validating the applications manually, implement the AWS cloud architecture, quality control testing and analysis evaluating software for organization standards and end-user functionality supporting internal applications supporting business unit.Independent direction within complex projects, recommending methodologies and procedures for new assignments, while working in an agile, cutting-edge, fast-paced, minimally supervised work environment.

• 8+ Years of related technical experience
• Bachelor’s degree or similar professional experience

• Must have professional quality assurance automation experience
• Software Development Lifecycle / SDLC / product release experience
• Experience within Agile development life cycle
• Ability to verify knowledge of technical systems and functions and product experience
• Experience testing CI/CD architecture cloud-based applications and testing system functionality for load, scalability, and fault tolerance
• Development + testing enterprise application preferred
• Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively
• Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently or in a team-based setting
• Self-starter with an analytical, engineering-focused mindset
• Ability to assimilate in a professional office environment
