BI Developer - Contract (Remote in Salt Lake City, UT) Kelly Technology has an immediate need for a BI Developer. Candidate must be local to Utah and able to commute to Salt Lake City when needed.

Essential Functions:

Provides BI support and training to business groups
Collects requirements and documenting processes
Develops data warehouse objects
Develops and maintains Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes (SSIS)
Optimizes ETL processes as needed
Research new ways to accept data
Follows industry standards and best practices

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or equivalency and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Required Skills:

2-4 years Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS)
Experience with Tableau Reporting
Strong experience of SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016
Experience with 2013/2016 SharePoint Server
Background in data warehouse design
In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP and ETL frameworks
Proficiency in core BI technologies (specifically SQL and SSIS)
Familiarity with SQL Server administrative tasks
Demonstrated experience working in Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills
Strong ability to explain advanced data concepts to fellow developers as well as non-technical end users
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and ensure quality standards based on an Agile Development process
Experience with Python
Familiarity with AWS data management services
Experience with tabular and multi-dimensional cubes (SSAS)
Experience with other database management systems, e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, e.g., Jenkins
Familiarity with Atlassian products, e.g., Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence
Healthcare experience is preferred.
