Must Haves: Java AND GROOVY- this is more of a Java/DevOps role, maintaining jenkins as well Interview: 2 rounds- Office preferred (usually only go in 1 day/week), Telecommute possible.
- Interview Process: Most likely 2 30-45 min interviews
- Urgency to fill the role: We do have people who know much of these process, but who also have other roles and need relief. We are also down a resource who was trying to fill t his role. So we do have some urgency.
- Project: ICP (Claims Manager/Claims Edit System), which is a clinical claims validator
- We are looking for an experienced Java Engineer to help improve and manage our build process, as well as manage and support the git branching methodology and flow. Working hand in hand with other engineers in developing our end-to-end CI/CD pipeline. Day to day work will involve writing code, writing build scripts, managing our Jenkins instance (version and plugins), managing our GitHub and Artifactory instances. Room for growth to work on Java development with team and/or DevOps processes with publishing to Azure cloud. Experience with docker/Kubernetes is also helpful to automate our regression testing via Jenkins jobs.
- Work with a large development team located across the US, India and Ireland as the build manger.
- Developers are mostly responsible for the build scripts, usually in Gradle, but this role requires some work in Gradle, as well as writing the Jenkins build pipelines (mostly in Groovy).
- You will assist with all things automated in Jenkins, act as a GitHub administrator, and a Git resource for developers, as well as managing and keeping our Jenkins instance up-to-date.
- Manage projects in Git, Jenkins and Artifactory.
- Design, write and manage build pipelines.
- Manage Source code Branches.
- Manage Product Release processes
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Technologies we use: Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gradle, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server, Oracle, JBoss, IntelliJ IDEA, Rally
- Understanding of distributed architecture design principles
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
- Experience implementing large-scale/high performance componentized web applications across multiple technology domains
- Experience in the health care industry
- Work on Java project build scripts in Gradle (Groovy)
