Duration: 12+ Months Contract Location: Salt Lake City, UT or Westlake, TX Role: Software Engineer in TestPrimary Skills: JIRA/ SDET/ Software Quality Assurance/ Selenium, Cyprus/ SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Java, AWS.Role Description: The Software Engineer in Test must have at least 8+ years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, design and execution of test scenarios, implementing automation strategy (when applicable), and supplying to the test effort as a member of an agile team across various development projects. You will also need to become a BPM expert; working closely with the professional services teams and customers as new business models are constructed, analyzed, deployed, debugged, etc. Primary Responsibilities: Review and analyze client-specific functional requirements Analyze functional and technical system design for testability Collaborate with project team to understand and prioritize testing efforts Define test scenarios, build test plans and participate in the definition and execution of automated and manual test scripts Mine and manipulate test data in support of test cases for multiple or complex projects Document encouraged results In collaboration with the scrum team, adhere to work you're doing in the sprint schedule Document and report on testing issues (using JIRA) Define system regression tests for future projects and for ongoing regression efforts Identify defects in multiple environments and throughout all phases of the development life cycle Support production verification and validation Assist in defining the Automation Strategy for the release Work in conjunction with all functional groups to identify potential future improvements to the overall quality process, requirements gathering and documentation Skills Required: Bachelors degree in a technical subject area, or equivalent experience is required Minimum of 3-5 years of Software Quality Assurance experience Experience with test automation tools, Cyprus / Selenium / Protractor /, is a plus Experience with agile methodology and tool sets (JIRA) Web Services testing experience, preferably with SoapUI or SOAtest Ability to work optimally on a globally dispersed team Deep technical skills such as SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Java, AWS Ability to read and enhance scripts/code Solid grasp of the software development process including planning, analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, and problem resolution Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses Travel: No Local Preferred: Yes Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C) Recruiter Name: Charan SinghRecruiter Phone:(Ext: 2142)Equal Employment Opportunity Minimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 yearsExpected Travel Time: None
