Retail Sales Associate for Garden Store $12-$15/hr M-Th

Do you love gardening, houseplants, and learning about plants and flowers? Do you love learning new skills and teaching others? Do you have an eye for detail and are good with computers? Then this is the job for you! We are needing to hire a full time Monday – Thursday employee to work in our small retail garden store. The job would involve interacting with walk in customers, printing and processing online orders, responding to customer emails, planting new garden displays, and learning gardening techniques and skills. We will provide resources for learning, but applicants must be self-motivated to learn. Responsibilities would include:

-Helping customers choose & purchase products

-Answering customers gardening and questions

-Printing and processing online orders

-Responding to customer emails

-Keeping the store clean, stocked and organized

-Maintaining & planting new garden displays

-Learning about different gardening techniques including Hydroponics

-Keep online product information current

-Other miscellaneous tasks

-Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Be honest, on time, drug free, have reliable transportation, be friendly, professional & happy, be self-motivated to learn about different gardening methods, be able to type at least 40wpm, and have a love…or growing love for all things garden related :)
