RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, a growing company is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. The Supply Chain Specialist will be involved in the handling of procurement, shipping, logistics, planning, forecasting and logistic processes to support company growth and success.
Responsibilities: Supply Chain Specialist will maintain, stabilize, and improve the company's ERP system Manage company's forecasting, purchasing, and procurement process for all the company's product lines Determine supply chain and sourcing partners to achieve a more robust and stable supply chain As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will maintain and improve the PLM/ERP alignment process to improve overall product quality and scalability Support new product development projects as needed to drive smooth transitions to production Manage freight forwarding and shipping partners (clearance issues, billing, etc.)This opportunity will have a strong possibility of moving into a Managerial role in the near future.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field 2-4+ years of experience in supply chain functions such as procurement, distribution, logistics, finance, Inventory, etc. Experience in technology, manufacturing, or similar industries Experience in the purchase of PCB's, Mechanical parts, electronic components are a plus Strong purchasing, export/import, shipping, logistics, expediting products, planning, forecasting, etc. ERP and/or MRP experience Strong experience with MS Office including Excel Experience in an electronic or electro-mechanical manufacturing environmentKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
