Sonus Software Solutions Inc is seeking an “Project Manager / Business Analyst” to Collaborate with team members in the Technology Group, business stakeholders and end users to define business requirements for an enterprise level company in Lehi Utah.

Job Description:
  • Collaborate with team members in the Technology Group, business stakeholders and end users to define business requirements
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Acquire a deep functional knowledge of the domain and functional areas by asking focused questions and rapidly gain an in-depth understanding of the current processes
  • Utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirement and functional specifications.
  • Articulate common business and system data models and can document, define, and
  • translate both as-is and to-be state data flows
  • Apply first-principles / critical thinking to challenge assumptions (such as functional
  • requirements and solution designs).
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and
  • potential problem areas in IT systems across the organization.
  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
  • Apply an agile methodology and define the Minimum Viable Product, critical path to delivery where appropriate.
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including system, integration, and customer acceptance, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.

Qualifications: Minimum:
  • 3 years of a successful track record in software business analysis and/or project
management
  • Experience with Agile software delivery and Agile concepts
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with colleagues at all levels and
areas of expertise
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving and strong analytical skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to communicate complex problems simply to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and meaningful environment.

Preferred:
  • 5 years’ experience
  • Four-year college degree
  • Technical degree or background
  • Proficiency with Project Management and collaboration tools (Workfront, Jira, Confluence,
Lucidcharts, etc)
