The MissionDeliver customer value through creating an extensible Authentication and Authorization service; Creating efficient internal and external facing APIs; Refactor, rewrite and test existing APIs.How Success is MeasuredTLDER - Helps the team hit sprint goal delivery of 80%+.You'll be developing an authentication and authorization service. A proof-of-concept and production-ready code that is addressed through diagnosis and resolution of customer needs. We work in an agile environment (cuz waterfall is lame) and at the end of each sprint you'll demo your code to the engineering team. Yay! Javascript, Angular, React, C#, SQL, NoSQL, Messaging, AWS Lambda, REST, GraphQL, CI/CD, Datadog, UI/UX Design Concepts, Automated Unit and UI Testing, Security, and a bunch of other nerdy technical terms should be first nature to you. You've done this for at least 4 years so these terms should make a lot of sense.SuperpowersSelf Driven - We need someone who embodies this value and is willing to figure things out and move quickly. Hand holding is not an option in this role.Deliver Customer Value - Unit and integration tests should deliver value in reducing code smells, and issues via static analysis feedback. In other words, our customers should be saying, "Aw dip. This product is off the charts cool. Whoever wrote that code deserves a raise!"Understanding of REST principles, GraphQL or other API Services

Experience with Typescript, Javascript, Angular or React

Knowledge with SQL or NOSQL database design and implementation (AWS Postgres, Couchbase, or others)

Passionate about unit and integration testing Testing

Passionate about continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)

Experience with messaging queues and event streaming platforms (SQS, Kafka).

Understanding of identity and access management

Familiar with Amazon Cognito authentication with the AWS Amplify framework

Familiar with AWS lambda

2+ years of professional development work experience

Preferred Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field of study
