RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Security Engineers in Draper, UT.

Summary:We are looking for 7 Security Engineers to join us on an amazing project. You will engage business personnel to ensure remediation solutions are identified, tested and made available to all groups responsible for vulnerability remediation. You will be expected to be a proactive worker and generate security solutions that enhance the businesses they support.

Key Tasks: Implement the enterprise-wide strategy and key initiatives/projects focused on the reduction of technology risk Assist in the execution of departmental plans, including business, and/or organizational priorities Work with IT and business teams to develop solutions that address root causes and vulnerabilities Ensure SLAs for scanning requirements and complying with regulatory obligations are met Communicating to remediation team(s) the details of the vulnerability findings and providing detailed plans of remediation where applicable/needed Ensure business segments and LOB's have applicable scan results for their business groups and customer specific scans when applicable (for internal remediation efforts only) Report generation Producing monthly metric details from scanning systems Run reports to determine assets applicable to threats or remediation projects Work with remediation teams to understand global exclusions Work with diverse IT and business teams to assist in developing solutions to remediate identified vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in a risk prioritized, effective and efficient fashion Operate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Vulnerability Management

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field and minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Information Security field; Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree 2-4 years of experience in Information Security with experience in vulnerability management, system hardening, and/or penetration testing Knowledge of configuration management, change control/problem management integration, risk assessment and acceptance, exception management and security Experience with software vulnerabilities, how CVEs are reported, how CVSS score is performed, and how they relate to specific system packages and remediation Possess strong technical security skills and comprehension of security and risk Ability to work on complex projects and with diverse teams Ability to distill complex security problems and drive toward creative solutions Familiarity with NIST, SOC2, SOX, and/or ISO27k standards Security certifications such as CISSP/CEH/OSCP certifications Familiarity with industry security frameworks such as CIS Top 20, OWASP Top 10, etc. Someone who is collaborative, driven and passionate about security and leadership and enjoys solving complex problems
