RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is looking for a talented Systems Engineer to assist our client with a Data Center Migration in Draper, UT. You will be a key member of talented System Engineers.
Job Responsibilities: Perform analysis, acquisition, installation, and upgrades of server hardware, operating systems, and software utilities in multiple datacenters Assist in Data Center Migration Providing system administration of server hardware, operating systems, application software, and overall solutions Maintaining server backup systems and monitoring performance Creating and updating procedures, standards and documentation. Including installation, use, system configurations, and problem-solvingREQUIREMENTS: Experience with current best practices in IT standards, principles, and security practices Ability to converse with multiple customers of varying technical skills and knowledge Understanding of audit process specifically with SOC and SOXWorking experience with the following: VMware ESXi Active Directory Domain and Group Policy Administration Cisco and/or HP Server hardware Security hardening via group policies, local policies, scripting, etc. Backup equipment and backup softwareSolarWinds, Splunk or other monitoring softwarePreferences: VCP 6 Certification Understanding of SAN topologies and conceptsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
