Description A client of ours is offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in The Woodlands, Texas. The selected candidate will be an integral part of their team, handling the processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial consistency and efficiency within our organization. This position is fully in office from Monday through Friday from 8-5. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounts payable experience and experience in SAP. Please apply today for immediate consideration! Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of vendor invoices. Verify the receipt of materials or services and correspondingly reconcile invoices. Enter invoices in the accounting system, ensuring correct approval, coding, and matching. Efficiently respond to vendor inquiries maintaining professionalism at all times. Participate in month-end closing activities to ensure timely financial reporting. Proactively resolve invoice discrepancies and issues, maintaining accurate records. Maintain payables aging and reconcile received-not-paid accounts. Align closely with the Purchasing department to ensure seamless financial operations. Provide necessary supporting documentation for audits. Foster a safe working environment and promote good teamwork and interpersonal relationships.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role Proficiency in using SAP software Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and processes Demonstrated ability in handling Month End Close processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
