As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a technical leader in a collaborative team environment that encourages you to perform at your best, while contributing to the engineering efforts of one of our data scrum teams.Qualifications/Requirements: • .NET Core, C#• Oracle PL/SQL• AWS• Compute: EC2, Lambda• Containers: ECS, EKS, Fargate, ECR• Data: S3, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache• Analytics: EMR, Elasticsearch: networking: VPC, Route 53, API Gateway, Direct Connect• DevOps: CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudWatch, messaging: SQS, SNS,terraform, kubernetes • Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing success to the organization• Lead team of engineers to design/implement key technical projects• Articulate key issues, draft action plans and communicate with management• Execute on platform and application roadmap deliverables• Develop and deliver enhancements which meet or exceed customer needs• Proactively collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders to deliver business-impacting projects• Develop high performing, scalable and secure solutions• Enhance and maintain services which cleanse, standardize and enrich data for use by many consumer-facing applications• Plan and deliver core technology upgrades• Diagnose, design, and implement solutions to key technology or application problems• Ability to work on multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to changing requirements• Ability to turn high-level requirements into a working system through iterative development• Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently to design, develop and deploy solutions• High energy, confident, ambitious and self-motivated individual• Must be an effective communicator Experience:• 7+ years of professional software development experience• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of education)• Object-oriented design experience• Strong C#.NET skills, including: Extensive knowledge of the .NET technology platforms• Applied use of design patterns and API best practices• Strong Oracle PL/SQL skills• Experience in realizing applications from conception and design, to implementation and support• Experience in supporting legacy applications/services and designing solutions to break apart monoliths and implement target state architected solutions• Experience designing and implementing applications with highly optimized and scalable architectures preferred.• Experience delivering software in cloud-based systems• Advanced technical training• Strong understanding of industry development, deployment processes and agile development methodologies• Advanced degree in Computer Engineering/Science or related field.Vacancy expired!
