Apply Today!Job Summary and Qualifications Must successfully complete initial hospital orientation. Must successfully complete all required elements of nursing orientation as established for PRN nurses. Must maintain current and active licensure, job-related annual competencies, certifications, and annual education requirements in all assigned areas. Must accept responsibility for staying up-to-date on information shared during unit/hospital staff meetings. Must comply with all hospital and nursing department policies and procedures.Must work the minimum hours required for selected PRN tier. Must work the minimum number of weekend shifts and holidays required for selected PRN tier. Employees are responsible for contacting their nursing director or designee concerning scheduling the number of hours necessary to maintain employment for their selected PRN level. If pre-scheduled PRN hours are no longer needed on the assigned unit, PRN employees may be reassigned to another area of the hospital in which they are deemed competent and qualified. Employees who do not meet the minimum requirements for their selected PRN level for two (2) or more pay periods, unless prior approval has been obtained from the nursing director or designee, will be removed from the schedule and discharged as a voluntary resignation. Requests for time off must be submitted in advance to the nursing director or designee. Every effort will be made to honor pre-approved requests; however, nursing administration reserves the right to schedule staff to insure appropriate staffing for safe and efficient delivery of patient care. Must obtain prior approval of the nursing director or designee before working overtime hours (over 40 hours per week). Must commit to tier selected for a minimum of six (6) months unless moving to higher tier. Tier 2 and Tier 3 plan participants may not reduce their commitment in the 4th quarter of the year without written approval from the CNO.What qualifications you will need:Must have at least one (1) year of full-time acute care RN experience in designated area.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
