Java Full Stack developer - c2c

Role: Java Full stack DeveloperLength: 6-month c2cLocation: San Antonio TX

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• AND, 6+ years of software development experience utilizing one or more of these development languages (Java and/or JavaScript) with at least 2 years using one of the following REST frameworks: Jersey or RESTEasy

• 4+ years in REST frameworks with a focus on API development
• 2+ years in AGILE methodology
• 2+ years’ experience integrating with backend services like JMS, J2C, ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA, JDO, etc), JDBC.
• Ability to design and implement container-based APIs using container frameworks OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Relational Database design and optimization with Oracle DB2, MySQL, Postgress
• Understanding of microservices architecture design and implementation
• Working experience with Gradle, GIT, GitHub, GitLab, etc. around continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure
• Experience testing in REST services
• Experience in design and develop an automated test framework
