Senior Java Engineer/Education Startup/100% Remote/$165K base

A high growth startup in the education space is currently looking to bring on a Senior Java Engineer for a full time role! They're looking for someone with 5+ years of professional experience and you'll be developing in Java, SpringBoot, Rest API, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices and PostgreSQL. You'll be doing 100% backend development on a team of 7 engineers and you'll be doing 90% new development. They're in the education space so the platform you'll be working on is consumer facing and used by thousands of customers. They're experiencing lots of growth so they're looking to scale out and build new things to the platform. You'll work with very smart engineers who are passionate about building something new and working on software that impacts consumers for the greater good! • At least 5+ years of professional development experience in Java
• Experience with SpringBoot, Rest API, Microservices
• Any experience with PostgreSQL is a plus
• Any experience with AWS or Azure is a plus
• Someone with strong Object Oriented Programming skills
• Someone who has strong Computer Science fundamentals
• Someone who is okay working in a startup environment that is fast paced and open to wearing many hats
