Technician Operator I

This is a contract to Hire – for Ethicon a Johnson & Johnson company.POSITION: Manufacturing Machine OperatorWORK LOCATION: San Angelo, TexasWORK HOURS: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AMDURATION OF ASSIGNMENT: Temp to PermRATE: $18.86 – 21.48 hourQUALIFICATIONSA minimum of a High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in the operation of manufacturing equipment is preferred.

Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice GMP environment preferred. Mechanical/technical skills required.

Troubleshooting skills preferred. Basic computer skills required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook is preferred.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must have good work habits neatness, organizational skills, time management skills, etc.

Must be a team player and be able to work with minimal technical supervision.

The ability to stand and/or walk 90 of the time is required.

Must be able to work rotating 12 hour night shifts 3rd Shift 6:30 pm - 6:30 am, will include alternating weekends. (Rotating 4 days on, 4 days off)

The ability to work occasional overtime and some holidays is required.
