job summary:

Troubleshoot NMS network issues and applications via telephone while using GoToMeeting, Teams or any other video conference tool
Must have exceptional customer service soft skills
Develop, document, and execute validation test plans on hardware, software, plug-ins, and operating system
Perform health check on all the NMS hardware and software components
Develop, document, and execute automated test scripts in a lab and production environment
Perform NMS software and hardware upgrades in a lab and production environment
Develop and document NMS hardware and software baseline configurations
Develop MOPs in a lab and production environment
Perform NMS hardware and software installation in a lab and production environment

salary: $95,000 - 105,000 per year

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

5+ Years with working experience in telecommunications
Experience knowledge in network virtualization and cloud technologies
Advanced knowledge of Linux (RedHat 6 or 7)
Experience with server installation and server management
Troubleshooting experience with Linux and Solaris operating system
Working knowledge of Database (Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra)
Have understanding of Routing/Switching
Have understanding of telecommunication technologies (SONET, DWDM, Ethernet)
Experience supporting new product deployments, test plan creation and execution
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to successfully multiple tasks while under pressure
Detailed analytical abilities and technical writing skills
Good interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
