- Seeking a Domain Architect with strong focus on Supply Chain / Merchandising side.
- Ideal candidate will have good working exposure of systems and capabilities on the Supply Chain / Merchandising side.
- These capabilities include, but not limited to Distribution & Transportation, Demand Planning, Inventory and Order Management, B2B Integration using EDI, Promotions Management (planning and execution), Price optimization & Assortment Management. eCommerce experience is a big plus.
- Experience implementing industry leading solutions (ERP / non-ERP) for these capabilities is highly desired.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- The selected candidate will work with business and IT to assess current state and define IT strategy for improving network speed.
- The candidate will work with other architects to translate the business strategy into high level architecture and gain leadership alignment.
- The candidate will assist with RFP preparation, vendor reviews, vendor selection and solution implementation as needed.
- Responsible for being a Thought Leader in the merchandise domain; includes effectively articulating, illustrating (via diagrams), developing conceptual models and landscape diagrams
- Establish strategic IT reference architecture, roadmaps and patterns for merchandising
- Review and recommend technology and 3rd party vendors in support of strategic business goals
- Role model and champion modern ways-of-working such as Agile, DevOps and related practices; actively participate in an architecture community which is a beacon of excellence within Ahold Delhaize
- Maintain a high level of individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively and independently, and challenge others to do the same
