Role: Account Reconciliation Analyst

Location – Camas, WA

Duration – Full Time

Must be local to WA ( Portland area) OR Plano, TX.

We are also open for candidates who are willing to relocate and work from client locations from Day 1. We are seeking an experienced Account Reconciliation Analyst to join our team.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in SS&C RECON and GWP, as well as Charles River Trading systems, and a proven track record in account reconciliation, specifically in cash, positions, and transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions to ensure accuracy and completeness of records. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations for assigned accounts, with a focus on cash and position.
  • Identify discrepancies in financial data and investigate root cause.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and custodian to resolve issues
  • Recommend corrective actions to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and present reports on reconciliation status and issues to management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in account reconciliation, specifically in cash, positions, and transactions.
  • Strong experience in SS&C RECON and GWP, as well as Charles River Trading systems.
  • Experience in financial services or investment management industry preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
CPA or CFA designation preferred.
