Job Description:

The Senior Technology Manager is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Ensures development of team through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development.Develops a technology strategy and ensures technology solutions comply with applicable standards. Advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices. Manages 10-14 employees, and up to 20 individuals as direct reports with contractors. Accountable for team level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition.Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams to with trainingresources to achieve them. Sets and tracks quality and performance objectives. Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback. Manages relationships with business and technology partners. Accountable for solution delivery as relevant to their teams. Accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices and standards are met. Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews). Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain. Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment, and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers. Leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization. Manages a team.

Required Skills

• At least 10+ years of people management skills to lead, influence and mentor professional resources of the highest quality

• Bachelor's degree in technical or related field

• Excellent business and technical acumen including Banking and Markets subject matter knowledge (knowledge of Treasury Fulfillment and Service, institutional payments, deposits desired)

• Detailed knowledge of the policies that govern technology at BOA including programming standards, engineering design, maintenance, application activities, compliance, risk and security standards

• Ability to lead across multiple lines of business to orchestrate cohesive oversight and management

• Ability to manage business and employment risks and audit/action planning processes

• Demonstrates a bias for action and a commitment to build/maintain partnerships in a client driven environment

• Ability to manage and support large, at times complex business engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions

• Experience leading teams and developing team members. Willingness and ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed team environment

• Strong knowledge of application development and architecture and overall system design. Seasoned technologist able to build and work in an Agile environment

• Experience in building enterprise solutions and leveraging core technology tools and with enhancing/maintaining mission-critical software in a fast-paced environment

• Work history demonstrating a sense of personal accountability to drive execution from start to finish
