We are currently seeking an Integration Developer to join our team. This role will work remotely from your home office located within the US.

A successful candidate will have strong technical analysis and programming skills, the ability to understand business and technical requirements as well as architecture and design specifications, as we work to develop high quality integration productions. We are looking for a strong software developer with solid experience working with the Intersystems Ensemble/IRIS or any other Integration technology stacks, preferably in the healthcare domain.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Working as a member of a development team, designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and deploying software predominately leveraging Intersystems' Ensemble integration engine technology in an environment exchanging high volumes of data
  • Support the existing agile teams with accomplishing project tasks
  • Assist with design and implementation on systems integration projects
  • Work on both new and existing productions to create, enhance, or resolve issues
  • Participate in the end to end software development life cycle for integration projects and environments

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Application Integration
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Object-Oriented design and development

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with scripting in one or more of these Integration engines: Ensemble/IRIS, Mirth, Cloverleaf or Rhapsody
  • Healthcare industry experience with HL7 and X12 EDI
  • Experience in high-volume environments
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Working knowledge in software build and deployment (source control, build, deployment, configuration)
  • Motivation to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects
  • Experience with Agile Frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Direct experience with TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
  • Knowledge of web services - REST/SOAP, JSON, XML
  • Usage of version control systems (Git, SVN)
  • Ability to author SQL statements or stored procedures
  • Experience with other programming languages
