- Expertise in development of reports in Tableau and Power BI
- Experience with creating action filters, parameters, and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and
- Ability to create clear visualizations of specific data as required by the Customer and provide feedback of the
- Partners with the SMEs to develop requirements to create effective dashboards.
- Develops and provides documentation, training, and support for users and Power Users.
- Works with database administrators to provide data from SQL Server, Oracle and other sources
- Participates in the creation and support of Business Intelligence/Analytics development standards and best
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Hands on experience in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.
- 3+ years of advanced experience working with Tableau and Power BI dashboards.
- Translate data and business requirements into informative visuals and reports
- Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential for this role
- Ability to work across all functions and levels
- Strict attention to detail, excellent organization skills, ability to balance numerous tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and determine/implement data enrichment or aggregation needs
- Expertise in development of reports in Tableau and Power BI
- Strong understanding of advanced Tableau features and capabilities and how that is implemented for business
- Ability to create clear visualizations of specific data as required by the Customer and provide feedback of the
- Consulting experience including business analyst and customer guidance through a BI project
- SQL or MYSQL Database expertise including select statements, view creation, SQL Cubes and other data
- Building, publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards, report scheduling using Tableau server and
- Experience with creating action filters, parameters, and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and
- Strong understanding of advanced features including calculated fields, parameters, table calculations, row-level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Tableau Certification
- MS Power BI Certification
- MarkLogic experience a plus
- Java or JavaScript development a plus
- Bootstrap, AngularJS, ViewJS or equivalent
