This 340+ bed short term acute care hospital is located in Eastern Texas, and offers a range of service lines, including a 24-hour emergency center, advanced perioperative services, diagnostic imaging, radiology, and screening, a behavioral health program, and cardiovascular care. This facility is recognized as an advanced trauma center, an accredited chest pain center, and offers primary stroke care. This medical center is known for its delivery of high-quality healthcare and its importance and value in the surrounding community.

The Critical Care Nurse Director will be responsible for overseeing all hospital critical care areas, including the intensive care unit, the step-down unit, telemetry monitoring, and hemodialysis. The Nurse Director of Critical Care will take on the duties of assisting in the preparation for Joint Commission surveys, and monitoring the critical care areas for continued compliance with regulatory standards. The ICU Nurse Director will be responsible for managing the critical care operating budget and developing critical care capital plans. The Critical Care Nurse Director will work closely with the Assistant Director of Nursing to ensure quality of care over all critical care units, and will collaborate with hospital leadership to develop facility-wide programs to enhance patient outcomes.
