Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) division of Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) products and factory production support. The individual must be self-motivated and will work with a cross functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and operations assembly and test. This position will reside in a RI&S Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) department that supports the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) Mission Area.Weekend work may be required approximately once every two months in support of a weekend rotation schedule.Job related activities include:Troubleshooting systems failing test, identifying failure cause, documenting and dispositioning hardware for repairOperation of electrical and optical test equipmentInvestigation of failure trends for root cause, implementation of corrective actions, supporting team leads in drafting and presenting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) packages to managementParticipation in teams tasked with resolving technical issues, improving test yields, and reducing test cycle timeRequired Skills:Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or related engineering fieldExperience with EO/IR systems in a production environmentDemonstrated oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities on multiple tasksStrong technical aptitude as shown by strong grades or hands on lab experienceExperience reading drawings and electrical schematicsExperience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and documenting test resultsU.S. Citizenship status is required as this position requires the ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance within one year of start dateDesired Skills:Advanced degree in a related fieldExperience working in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment (i.e,.
