Electrical Engineer II - Antenna Design/SEIT

Job DescriptionExciting opportunity in Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) as an electrical engineer based in McKinney, Texas, with responsibilities having significant impact, recognition, and growth in the organization.　 The engineer will have responsibility for the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge Active Electronically Scanned Antennas (AESA) with Digital Beamforming (DBF).　 The engineer will reside within the Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) Antenna Core Products (ACP) department headquartered in Dallas, Texas.　 The HWEC ACP department is responsible for full-scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for antenna products, including architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions.　 The engineer will implement best practice standards with regard to the planning, coordination, and execution of AESA design and modeling with sound engineering process discipline and leadership.　 The successful candidate will have a solid foundation and experience in antenna engineering with specific knowledge in antenna radiators, RF manifolds, EM modeling techniques and associated best practice tools and processes.　Required Skills:Minimum of 2 years related work experienceKnowledge of RF and electromagnetic fundamentalsUnderstanding of Phased Array antenna theoryProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.Desired Skills:Solid understanding and experience in electrical engineering of phased arraysUnderstanding of digital transceivers (ADC/DAC)Familiarity with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, Keysight SystemVue, and MATLABExcellent verbal and written communication skillsRequired Education:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering BS and 2 years of experience, MS and 0 years of experienceDesired Education : Master’s degree in Electrical EngineeringThis position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.167818Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
