The job description is as follows:

Job Title: MS SQL developer with Teradata

Location: Freehold, NJ / Irving, TX / Temple Terrace, FL (Hybrid Onsite)Job type: Contract/C2CDuration: Long term

Note: The work will be 60% MS SQL development/support and 40% Teradata data development/support

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

Minimum 10 years of MS SQL server T SQL development experience with SQL utilities (Backup, replication, SSIS etc )
Proficient in understanding and create complex SQL queries
Experience in Agile development using Jira
Experience of version control practices and procedures (GIT)
Minimum 4 years of Teradata development experience with ETL and Teradata utilities (BTEQ, MLOAD, FLOAD, FAST EXPORT)
Minimum 4 years of experience in Unix shell scripting

DESIRED SKILLS BUT NOT MANDATORY:

Experience in any reporting tool set like Qlik or Tableau

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science/information technology or relevant engineering field with minimum 8 to 10 years of experience
