Job DescriptionCaremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Irving, TX: Advisor, Analytics to provide analytics support for the design and development of enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze information to design, determine, recommend, and implement the strategy for upgrading the data ingestion process for the CareEngine platform; collaborate with stakeholders and data modelers to identify requirements, determine feasibility of design, and build correct data models for all stages of the ingestion process; upgrade existing systems transitioning from a legacy SAS-based system to a scalable architecture using GCP and Snowflake to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; utilize Snowflake and Apache Airflow for ETL process to generate data insights across multiple subject areas (patient and healthcare provider data); implement data qualify checks and validations at various pipeline stages to ensure high data quality standards; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, quality assurance, parallel testing phase, gap identification in development environment, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members.Required QualificationsMaster’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Database technologies: SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata; Cloud or Big Data technologies: GCP, Snowflake, or Hadoop; Programming in R, Hadoop, or Python; “Big data” platforms including Hadoop (Azure, GCP, or AWS); and Spark, Airflow, Pig, or NoSQL.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
