- Prepare and process full-cycle, bi-weekly, multi-state payroll that complies with Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliant payroll legislation for multi-state taxes, withholdings and employer contributions.
- Audit new hire data to verify employee personal information is correct.
- Assist in employee on-boarding.
- Enter authorized payment earning and deduction requests as needed.
- Analyze, calculate and reconcile payroll by auditing employee’s gross and net pay, taking into consideration salary, overtime, bonuses, incentives and commission.
- Assist employees with payroll, time/attendance and compensation issues and provide solutions and recommendations.
- Responsible for preparation of W-2/government forms and year-end reporting
- Reconcile monthly, quarterly and annual filings with HR Management System
- Other administrative duties as required.
- Process all invoices and maintain Accounts Payable and Receivables.
- Be able to assist with the processing of H1b or green card process.
- Work independently and help with upscaling of Company’s current HR and Payroll setup
- Administer with accounting management all employee benefits including enrollments and terminations.
- Plan and administer annual open enrollment period.
- Ensure all enrollments are accurate and prepare information for reports/audits.
- Resolve discrepancies with carriers and payroll.
- Strong understanding of multi-state payroll processing along with payroll tax/law (2-4 years)
- Knowledge of ADP Payroll and HR System/Functions
- Exceptional analytical skills with an ability to create actionable reports from data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to take initiative and be self-managed
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Professionally handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting or related field
- Proficiency with ADP payroll and benefits management
