We are currently seeking a Senior Data Architect (Hadoop) to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for solutions using Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Advanced Analytic and Data Science implementations.
• Knowledge and experience using Architectural patterns for migrations and software life cycle developments
• Ability to communicate and present complex technical analysis to technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to leverage and integrate technology components into an overall solution architecture in support of business requirements
• Ability to lead and provide direction to team members (on or offshore) including technical vision, Architecture and design
• Ability to design and architecture to adhere to the regulatory compliance, governance and enforcing data quality
• Ability to optimize solutions for cost and performance
• Deep understanding of data modelling and metadata management
• Creates the overall analytics platform architecture for controls automation
• Develops and/or leads the development of prototypes
• Deep understanding and multiple year experience with Big Data technologies, Data Ingestion (Both Batch and streaming), On-premises, Cloud and Hybrid environments
• Proven and relevant experience in creating solutions using Multiple platform and/or with multiple methodologies
• Exceptional technical skills regarding pulling and interpreting data and tying the findings with business judgment to drive actionable outcome
• Credit or financial services industry is desirable

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture
• 8+ years of experience in Apache Hadoop (HDFS)

Education:

• Master's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
