Looking for a natural born leader with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, small business, multi-tasking environment of monitoring (via phone, GPS, and internal systems) and supporting the multiple moving teams. This individual believes in doing whatever it takes to get the job done and exceed the customer’s expectations. Being able to remain cool under pressure and not cave in under the stress of movers calling off, customer issues, logistics hiccups, or planning for the next day is a necessity. Dispatching and creating assignments are key aspects of this role. Prior experience is required, preferably in the moving industry. Proven problem solver, motivating teams, and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, are essential in making this role a success.
IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION FOR THE FOLLOWING>>>>>>>> 2 + years direct moving industry experience as an experienced Mover Supervisor/Lead Mover/Dispatch Assistant, experience with onboarding/training employees, experienced in vaulting moving shipments/Forklifts, Drive 26 Ft box truck, DOT/FMCSA knowledge, SmartMoving or other moving CRM knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily planning, scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring quality assurance throughout the move Prepare daily work orders for drivers, enter, and maintain accuracy of records in the CRM
Anticipate and effectively respond to work scope and job scheduling changes Proactive planning & reviewing jobs to ensure they are staffed and equipped accurately
Communicate with drivers, clients, and company efficiently
Confirm accuracy in daily timesheets are accurate for payroll processing
Interact with customers to provide information, resolve complaints, and coordinate logistics
Assist with the Claims Process, Internal trace of missing items, service contract and inventory
Communicate with drivers and customers of delays, mechanical issues, weather changes, etc
Hire, train, evaluate, onboard new drivers & movers’ applicants
Manage inventory for tools, equipment, and vehicle rentals (pick up/drop off) as needed.
Manage warehouse, storage vaults, and maintaining a safe and pristine work area
Report issues such as accidents, damage, misconduct, or violation of company policies
Whenever necessary, assist with deliveries (must be in good physical shape, able to lift 75lbs)
Maintain a high rating on Google, Yelp, Facebook
On call via phone, text, or email for moving crews
