Position Summary: This role is a position in the sales department for our client, serving as an expertise and excellence center, and actively supporting a regional coverage area, a team of salespeople, and to help ensure we achieve desired results and reach our goals. This role will serve as client facing to develop relationships, find projects, introduce MSA opportunities, and increase our coverage area of the designated sales region. The Regional Business Development Manager is expected to provide 100% focus on the health, wellbeing, and growth of the sales function within the designated region, and provide complete full-time support to the market, client base, staff, and initiatives. Active sales from the Regional Business Development Manager, and multi-level sales involvement, is expected as the primary focus. What you will be doing:- Collaborate, participate, and assist in creating yearly business development strategies for the region
- Key account plans for business development, and for transition to local sales reps if needed
- Revenue objectives and growth of targeted market share
- Coaching, communicating, mentoring, and support of Salespeople
- Client engagement, or involvement as required to: Negotiate, or support salespeople in negotiating
- Involvement, coaching, direction, and participation in: Issue resolution matters between salespeople and clients, Strategic sales offerings
- Participate and attend, weekly, monthly quarterly, and yearly sales meetings with sales staff to ensure: Internal and external needs are met
- Sign off and approval for designated bid limits, per authority of the SM.
- 10+ years of high-level sales in industrial construction, or lifting and transportation
- Previous experience in dealing with large corporations, EPC firms, or contractors.
- Global sales efforts may be required, National sales efforts are required.
- College degree is preferred.
