Concrete/ Construction General Labor $14-$15

General Concrete Laborer’s needed for our very busy construction outfit. We provide a stable work environment, 40 plus hours a week, benefits and plenty of room for advancement.

Job Functions:

Perform general labor duties in various outdoor work environments.

Learn concrete applications and construction

Operate hand and power tools related to concrete and construction

Mix, pour and finish concrete

Tie rebar

Bild form and set concrete

Perform final clean-up as well as all other general cleanup during the job

Must be able to drive personal vehicle to various job sites within the Houston metro area

Ability to lift 50 pounds or more several times daily.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Understand and implement verbal and written instructions.

Be able to learn the concrete and construction trade

Work efficiently in a team environment.

Experience with hand and power tools

Perform physical labor including bend, kneel, stand, squat, stoop, walk, climb, lift, push, pull, reach with hands at, below and above shoulder level.

Work in physically demanding environments including the heat of summer and cold of winters.

Requirements:

Must be physically fit and be able to work a full 10 hour shift OUTSIDE in Houston heat

Must have steel toed boots or rubber boots

Must be able to wear protective PPE including hard hats, safety vests and other PPE

Must not be afraid to work around heights, sewage, holes and semi hazardous areas

Previous Experience and Helpful Qualities:

Prior outside construction, scaffold building, landscaping

Bilingual is helpful

Experience working in extreme heat and weather conditions

Position pays $14-$15 per hour with room for growth, overtime, raises and benefits.
