Role: SAP SRM Analyst

REQUIRES ONSITE WORK IN HOUSTON OFFICE. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY OR THOSE WILLING TO RELOCATE AT OWN EXPENSE. THERE WILL BE NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED

JOB SUMMARY Develop business and technical requirements for SAP Projects and provide primary and backup SAP configuration support. Will serve as a subject matter expert within designated area.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide Production support in the following areas and also integration to; SRM, MDM Catalogs, SUS/SLC
  • MM Procurement process and configuration knowledge
  • Development and directly support Business Owners within Procurement.
  • Support Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and UA Testing for any Implementation Projects
  • Able to research and resolve system issues. Work with ABAP developers to configure and make appropriate changes.
  • Reporting Knowledge with BI/BWs.
  • Configuration experience in SRM, MDM Catalogs, SUS/SLC
  • Create Business Process Procedures documentation.
  • Experience in integration to other SAP Modules such as Finance, Logistics, MM/ Procurement, Plant Maintenance, Organization Management and HR Modules. Must have experience with the integration points between these modules.
  • Responsible for collaborating with all stakeholders during all project phases to ensure knowledge is built, shared, and applied to maximize project success.
  • Experience with Public Sector Procurement Standards for local and state, strongly preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in SAP configuration, production support, and also integration to: SRM, MDM, SUS/SLC, and Document Builder
  • Reporting Knowledge with BI/BWs.
  • Experience in integration to other SAP Modules such as Finance Logistics, Organization Management and HR Modules. Must have experience with the integration points between these modules.
  • Experience in conducting end user training on the use of SAP functionality
  • Good business process knowledge in designated areas
  • Good facilitation skills to develop requirements and resolve problems are a plus.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the department.
  • Self-motivated, Flexible, Openness to learn new things, Strong focus on customer needs.
  • Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and exhibit a strong sense of urgency
